Before Christmas 1991 Ture Sjolander was granted
$ 10.000 from the Premier of Queensland the Honourable Wayne Goss;
"Towards cost in 1992 for the gallery of thought - confusion art - original artworks with unlimited edition."
Later the same year the artist did take the first steps in using his grant that even Swedish art authorities had supported.
According to the artist Ture Sjolander it is one of his most important artworks during his international career and very much related in accordance to the international famous museum director Pontus Hulten's statement that " art should be accessible to the public".
Ture Sjolander became later a citizen of Australia on his very own condition, namely the new Pledge he suggested the Government, 1992, a pledge "towards the Australian People"
